Mining Engineers' Association of India Ahmedabad Chapter

The Mining Engineers' Association of India (MEAI) was founded in 1957. It came into existence with the aim to safeguard and enhance the professional competence and integrity of the mining industry as well as its associated professionals. The members include Mining Engineers, Geologists, Metallurgists, Geo-scientists, Environmental Engineers, and Allied Engineers serving the mining industry, Educators, Researchers and Students. MEAI has a membership strength of more than 6,000. The Association operates through its 27 Chapters all over the Country aiming at Scientific and Technological developments in the mining industry for the betterment of the country. MEAI -Ahmedabad Chapter, established in June 1997, is one of the Vibrant Chapters among these 27 Chapters.
